Sashank Desu

Deputy Director for
Social Programming

Sashank Desu is a first-year master's student in the School of Engineering and Applied Science studying Scientific Computing. Sashank holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. His academic interests lie in the intersection of biomedical imaging and machine learning research.  

He is a fervent leader, often engaging in and shepherding community driven activities. As the Deputy Director for Social Programming, he aims to enhance the graduate student experience through communal engagement and eclectic events. 

His hobbies include volunteering, stock trading, journaling and film analysis.
