Davina Scott

Deputy Director for
Records

Davina Scott is a Master of Social Work candidate at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy & Practice. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Criminology, from Howard University in 2023.

Davina’s upbringing in a low-income neighborhood fostered her passion for addressing the effects of trauma, mass incarceration, violence, and poverty in urban communities. As a first-year MSW student, she worked as a Caseworker for the Goldring Reentry Initiative, supporting individuals in their successful reentry into society. Currently, as a second-year MSW student, she serves as a Student Intern Therapist at the Council for Relationships, where she provides low-fee individual therapy.

Davina is a Social Justice Scholar and a New York Times Adversity Scholar, committed to advancing equity and justice for all, regardless of socioeconomic status. She is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the field of social work and will serve as the Deputy Director for Records for GAPSA for the 2024-2025 academic year.
