Yibo Zhou

Yibo is a dual master’s degree candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, studying Nonprofit Leadership and Law. With a strong background in finance and investments, Yibo brings valuable experience to his role as Deputy Director of Financial Training for GAPSA’s Finance Division. His expertise in strategic financial management and budgeting helps ensure the financial health of graduate and professional student organizations at Penn.

Previously, Yibo worked at Vanguard in the investment department, where he gained in-depth knowledge of investment strategies and financial planning. He also manages his own private equity firm, further honing his skills in financial analysis and business development. In addition to his work in the for-profit sector, Yibo is committed to social impact, having collaborated with nonprofit organizations like the Pennsylvania Immigration and Citizenship Coalition.

As an immigrant who has lived in the U.S. for 16 years, Yibo is dedicated to promoting diversity and cross-cultural collaboration at Penn. His unique perspective and experience make him a valuable leader in both GAPSA and the wider university community
