GAPSA ADVISORY SERVICES

GAPSA Advisory Services (GAS) comprises of the Finance Advisory Board (FAB) and the GAPSA Finance Associations Council (GFAC) which are formed as a part of the G12+ Accountability Program. GAS offers finance training sessions, policy compliance and auditing services, as well as premium subscriptions.

COMPLIANCE AND AUDITING

GAS employs three methods to ensure policy compliance:

  1. All events funded by GAPSA must reserve two tickets for members of GAS to attend and review them to determine proper use of funding

  2. All groups funded by GAPSA must file After-action Reviews that summarize budgeted vs actual expenditure, revenue, and attendance, as well as proofs of policy compliance.

  3. GAS may audit any group funded by GAPSA (in part or full) to determine proper use of funding. During an audit, the student group must submit itemized transactional details of their expenditure and exact revenues for the fiscal year.

You can learn more about the policies here.
