Xinyi Wang

Xinyi is a fourth year PhD student at Annenberg School for Communiation and the Director of External Affairs this year. Her research understands how people's media impacts wellbeing. In her last two years at GAPSA, she served on the Research Council as a student representative for her school and learnt a lot about the inner operations and how GAPSA works as the official graduate student government. She has been interested in getting involved with advocacy for graduate students. This year, she hopes to connect GAPSA with external organizations within Philadelphia and nationally, forming closer bonds with these organizations to benefit graduate students’ life at Penn. In her free time, she enjoys doing yoga and binge watching drama shows!
