Grants & Funding: Discretionary Fund

Purpose Each year, the GAPSA General Assembly utilizes a $25,000 discretionary fund to support academic and social enterprises that will benefit Penn’s entire graduate student population. This falls in line with part of GAPSA´s mission to encourage students from all corners of the student body to get together, learn together, and have fun together.
Funding Varies
Notes The endeavor should (a) improve graduate and professional student life at Penn and (b) be interdisciplinary.
Deadline On-going review process
Application Please read this document for more detailed application instructions and submit via email a brief summary of and estimated budget for your event.
Contact Vice Chair for Finance, gapsa.finance@gmail.com

PLEASE NOTE: We encourage applicants to first pursue the other primary funding sources (for research students, professional students, or students groups). In addition, GAPSA offers supplemental funding through the Discretionary Fund with the caveat that all applicants must make a brief presentation in front of the GAPSA General Assembly to be considered.
